Our favorite international organization to talk about on our blog is, of course, Lions Clubs International, but today we’d like to discuss another group: the Olympics. Tomorrow (but today in Russia) marks the beginning of the 2014 Winter Olympics. From February 7 to February 23, athletes from all over the world will be competing for the gold medal.
We are very happy to see that our home state is well-represented. There are 15 athletes from Wisconsin competing in the games; one competitor is even from right here in Central Wisconsin. See the list of athletes and their events from Channel 3000 in Madison:
